Associate Member Viewpoints Program

Associate Member Viewpoints (AMVs) are included as links within NBWA's electronic newsletter, The Beer Route. The article title and byline will be at the top of the article and a short "About the Author" segment is included at the end of the article. This "About the Author" segment should be the only section in which your specific company is named and described. AMVs are meant to be an educational experience for the beer distributor and not a direct solicitation for work/clients. It should be written in the format of an informative how-to article. NBWA allows one article per company per year to be printed. Platinum, Gold and Silver associate members are encouraged to take advantage of all of their membership benefits as well as this excellent marketing opportunity.

Participation in the Associate Member Viewpoints Program allows you to:

  1. Introduce your company to industry leaders with purchasing power;
  2. Build relationships with the beer distributing community;
  3. Promote your company through an investment of your time and effort;
  4. Educate principals and decision makers on your expertise relating to your products and/or services; and
  5. Reach over 3,000 beer distributors, suppliers and industry allies without ever leaving your office.

If you wish to participate in the Associate Member Viewpoints Program, please take the following steps:

  1. Write an informative, interesting or educational article (approximately 1,500 - 2,500 words). At the end of your article, include a short statement about the author, description of the company and contact information.
  2. Obtain an electronic copy of your company logo (resolution must be 300dpi and the file format must be TIF).
  3. Any graphics to be included in your article must have a resolution of 300dpi and must be in JPG or TIF format. If the files are too large to send by e-mail, please send hard copies or a CD by mail. Do not embed graphics in the article. If this criteria is not met, graphics will not be included with the published article.
  4. Provide a photo of author to NBWA (optional).
  5. Submit an electronic copy of the article and any supplemental materials.

Once NBWA receives the article and supplemental materials, it will be reviewed and proof-read by NBWA staff. Changes will be tracked in a Word document and submitted to you for approval. Pending approval, the article will be placed in the queue to be printed and inserted into a future issue of the Beer Route.

For more information about NBWA's Associate Member Viewpoints Program contact the meetings and membership department at 800-300-6417 or info@nbwa.org.
