Global
Data Synchronization
(GDS) is vital to the accurate flow of business information between trading
partners and it is one of the major supply chain initiatives in the 21st
Century. This session will help you prepare for the synchronization process by
providing you with an overview of data synchronization within the
direct-store-delivery (DSD) environment and address challenges of sharing
information at the store level. Attendees will learn about the roles within a
Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) which provides a single point of
entry, Global Registry (GS1), for trading partners and interoperability between
data pools.
