NBWA Launches New and Enhanced Web Site Design

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - After an intensive Web site redesign process, the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) is set to launch a new, interactive and more, user-friendly Web site at www.nbwa.org.

"NBWA will to continue to enhance and develop new and exciting Web site features and disseminate important industry information in a timely and cost efficient manner," said NBWA President David Rehr. "These new developments will continue to evolve the Web site into an effective resource and valuable tool for NBWA members, state beer wholesaler associations, congressional staff and our industry allies."

In 2002, NBWA teamed with Cobalt, an Internet application development and hosting firm, to help implement Web site enhancements. Through use of the Web Site Director Pro content management software, NBWA will have the capabilities to provide timely information regarding:

  • Legislative activities on Capitol Hill;
  • NBWA legislative priority and industry updates;
  • Press releases and "action alert" memorandums;
  • Beer Perspectives newsletter;
  • NBWA Political Action Committee (PAC);
  • State legislator information;
  • Online registration and materials for future Convention and Trade Shows and NBWA/BREWERS Joint Legislative Conferences;

The new site will also include an informative legislative component, eAdvocacy, which will allow beer wholesalers the opportunity to look up information about their members of Congress, voting records, cosponsorship on NBWA legislative issues, as well as the opportunity to draft constituent responses to their senators and representatives via the NBWA Web site.
