The U.S. Chamber Appoints Purser to Serve on Association Committee of 100

Washington, DC -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig A. Purser, President, National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA), to the Association Committee of 100 (C100).   

“The Association Committee of 100 is one of the most prestigious appointments in the association community,” said Raymond P. Towle, IOM, CAE, Executive Director, Association and Chamber Relations, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “This selection is a testament to Purser’s leadership and standing among association executives. The U.S. Chamber is proud to be associated with such an outstanding leader.”

The C100 is comprised of the country’s leading association chief staff executives. These experienced leaders provide advice to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; enhance Chamber lobbying and coalition work; recommend programming; and, strengthen outreach to the business and association community.

Founded in 1958, the Association Committee of 100 is comprised of the country’s leading association chief staff executives. These experienced CEOs represent Association members before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; enhance Chamber lobbying and coalition work; recommend programming; and, strengthen outreach to the business and association community.  

Five former members of Congress, two Governors, and several “Executives of the Year” currently serve on the Committee of 100. The group includes a diverse combination of men and women from throughout the United States representing associations of all sizes, both national and international.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing more than three million businesses and organization of every size, sector and region.
