National Trade Association Names Patti Rouzie Vice President, Membership and Meetings

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia – The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) today announced that Patti Rouzie has been named vice president, membership and meetings. This position manages a variety of Association programs and oversees membership dues and meetings revenue. The announcement comes on the heels of NBWA’s 69th Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida, an event that drew over 1,400 attendees and received high marks from the Association’s membership and industry partners for its level of success and superior quality.

“Patti Rouzie continues to raise the bar for the quality of NBWA events time and again,” said NBWA President Craig A. Purser. “Our Conferences and Conventions are top notch in the beverage industry and that is due to her leadership, hard work and expertise. Today, we also recognize Patti for her leadership in the Association’s membership development efforts. Even as the beer distribution industry continues to experience consolidation, NBWA’s membership levels remain high.”

Rouzie is a seasoned events planning professional, having worked in the industry for more than eleven years. She served most recently as NBWA’s director of membership and meetings.

As membership and meetings vice president, Rouzie is responsible for the Association’s revenue which is drawn from NBWA’s membership dues, Convention and biennial Trade Show and programs and services. Rouzie develops programming and marketing materials for the Association’s annual Convention and oversees the management of its Trade Show which takes place biennially in Las Vegas and covers 100,000 gross square feet. Additionally, Rouzie will manage membership development, the NBWA Board of Directors’ committees, Board elections, the NBWA Membership Needs Survey and the development of the Association’s strategic plan.
