NBWA distributes video public service announcements (PSAs). Over the years, NBWA's PSA program has increased its success and visibility through partnerships with sports celebrities, elected officials and entertainment personalities. NBWA's PSA videos are individually packaged and free for all NBWA members. Contact the NBWA Public Affairs Department at (800) 300-6417, or e-mail info@nbwa.org with your request. Junior Seau Aimed at fighting illegal underage consumption, this sixty-second television spot features San Diego Charger Junior Seau, middle linebacker and 11-time consecutive Pro-Bowl player in the National Football League (NFL), and is part of NBWA's ongoing alcohol awareness campaign to promote alcohol safety and responsibility in the community. Seau encourages adults to educate children on the dangers of drinking illegally and promotes positive choices. Hootie and the Blowfish Atlantic Records recording artists, Hootie and the Blowfish, talk about the fact that recent federal statistics show that underage drinking is at its lowest level, and that it is illegal for those under the legal drinking age of 21 to purchase and consume alcohol. The band also reminds those who choose to drink to also choose a designated driver.
