C. Stein, Inc. Beverage Group Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Craig Stein founded C. Stein Distributing, Inc. in Washington state on May 14, 1990, when he purchased Cascade Distributing in Vancouver, Washington. The business started with just 11 employees and one location. Today, C. Stein, Inc. Beverage Group employs more than 350 men and women at three locations - Nouveaux Distributing Company in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho; Idaho Distributing Company in Boise, Idaho; and C. Stein Distributing, Inc. in Vancouver, Washington. In each market, Stein always works to remember the top priorities: its hard-working employees and the people of the local communities.
“The company’s successes can be attributed first and foremost to surrounding yourself with good people,” said Stein. “We have strived to promote from within; however, when that’s not possible, we go out and recruit the best.”
C. Stein, Inc. Beverage Group will commemorate its 20-year milestone by recognizing eight of the original 11 teammates who are still employed by the business, and by getting teammates involved with Web site trivia quizzes, BBQ’s and local announcements.
