Statement from NBWA President Craig Purser on the Death of NBWA Board Member Judd Sondreal

ALEXANDRIA, VA – It is with a very heavy heart that NBWA remembers Board Member Judd Sondreal, President of McKinnon Company in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 17.  Judd stood out everywhere he went because of his radiant smile and his infectious love of life.  He always was thinking of others, especially his family.  He beamed when talking about his wife, Lisa, and their daughters – they were the light of his life.  NBWA is fortunate to call Judd our friend, and we are all better for knowing such a great person. 

Judd would have been 46 years old this Friday and appeared by all accounts to be in good health. 

Unexpected losses are especially difficult for us to deal with.  Given Judd’s selflessness and incredible ability to put others first, we should remind ourselves and each other of how precious life is and how we need to recognize our friends, families and loved ones like never before.  

We will all be keeping Lisa and their beloved daughters in our thoughts and prayers.

Visitation followed by prayer service

Monday, August 23

11 a.m.

Funeral

The visitation and the funeral will take place at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1405 S 9^th Street, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
