IA: Liquor control proponents left high, dry again

Residents in Waterloo, Iowa, fighting the spread of neighborhood liquor stores failed once again to get satisfaction. City Council members, for the third time in just over a month, tabled an ordinance designed to make it more difficult for convenience stores, gas stations and bars to open and operate in the community.
