WA: Liquor retailers shopping for space

Costco Wholesale said it wanted competition in the liquor business, and that may be what's coming. Big liquor chains are eyeing Washington, which on June 1 will allow private retailers to sell liquor under an initiative that voters overwhelmingly approved last fall. Liquor chains Beverages and More, known as BevMo, and Liquor Depot have reportedly been touring the state for commercial real estate.
