NBWA educates federal lawmakers, agencies and regulators on the value of state-based alcohol regulation as well as the economic and regulatory issues that impact Main Street businesses such as beer distributors.
Beer distributors operate within a time-tested, state-based regulatory framework that allows all brands of beer to get to market using many potential routes. NBWA advocates for states’ ability to oversee alcohol issues – in accordance with the 21st Amendment – that impact their communities and local citizens, which enables states the ability to change state alcohol laws to reflect current needs and desires.
The NBWA Political Action Committee works to support elected leaders and candidates for office who understand Main Street businesses such as beer distributors, the importance of state-based alcohol regulation and the 21st Amendment.
